Dell Launches Venue 7, Venue 8, Venue 8 Pro and Venue 11 Pro Tablets in India

Dell launches two Android Tablets Venue 7 and Venue 8, and two Windows 8.1 powered Tablets Venue 8 Pro and Venue 11 Pro in a press event at New Delhi.

The company priced Rs.10,999/- and Rs.17,499/- for the Android tablets Venue 7 and Venue 8 respectively and are available at online stores.

The Windows based Venue 8 Pro will be having a starting price tag of Rs.26,499/- and will be made available in Febrauar 2014, while the price and availability of Venue 11 Pro will be announced soon by the company.

Dell Venue 7 will be powered by Intel Atom Z2560 1.6GHz Dual-Core processor with 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal memory and 7" HD IPS Capacitive Multi touch Screen display. Venue 7 sports 3MP rear and VGA front cameras.

Dell Venue 8 will have a little bigger screen of 8" and will be powered by Intel Atom Z2580 2.0 GHz Dual-Core processor with 2 GB of RAM and choiced 16GB/32GB internal memory. Venue 8 too will have two cameras, 5MP on rear and 2MP on front.

Both the Android tablets will be running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with a promised OS upgrade to latest KitKat.

Comming to the Windows 8.1 based tablet Dell Venue 8 Pro, the device will be powered by Intel Atom 1.8GHz Quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, choiced 32GB/62GB internal storage, 8" display and 1.2MP front/5MP rear cameras.

The other Windows 8.1 based tablet Dell Venue 11 Pro will have larger 11" screen, and will be powered by Intel Atom 2.4GHz Quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and options to choose 32GB or 64GB internal storage. Sports a 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.
